Norbert Vroege
Founder and Managing Director Plugwise
After completing his studies at Business School (HEAO BE) he started his career at Baas en Roost implementing logistic software for governmental purposes. A few years later he founded in 1998 his first company: “ Innosource”. This company was sold to Centrotec Sustainable AG in 2005 after which he became part of the Board of Management. In December 2006 he founded Plugwise.
At Plugwise. Norbert mainly deals with product development, marketing & sales and with(international) business development besides managing Plugwise.
Bernadette van Oosteroom
Director International Development and Legal
Export team
After completing both her Business and Law studies, she gained professional experience as international negotiator and dealmaker at KLM (Foreign Relations and Co-operation Bureau) where she was responsible for multiple strategic partnerships and commercial agreements, at ENECO Holding as Senior Vice President Strategy and M&A, at UPC/Liberty Global as Senior Vice President and at Boer & Croon as Senior Consultant M&A.
At Plugwise she is responsible for managing the team dealing with export and international distribution & business development. She also deals with legal affairs, partnerships & commercial cooperation as well as with investor relations and with marketing.
Reinder Sanders
Product Manager
Product Development Team
After he completed his studies Commercial Technical Business Administration at the Technical College (HTS – Werktuigbouw at Enschede), he gained professional experience as Product Manager with the Alcoa Building group where he occupied successively the positions of Product Manager, Manager Desk Sales dpt. Trade and Sales Representative. In 2001 he joined Innosource as Sales Manager where he was responsible for setting up the department for Product Management. Afterwards, in 2007 he became (interim) Sales Manager at Vero Duco ( Belgium),after which he joined Plugwise in 2008.
At Plugwise Reinder is responsible for the Product-Development-team, also dealing with technical service, maintenance and after-sales. Additionally he supports Plugwise’s Marketing & Sales-team.
Theo Vroege
Senior Systems Engineer
Software Development Team
After his studies Computer Science, he started his career at Fluor as a software engineer, developing a range of software programs. Afterwards he worked as a system developer for several companies. After a while he became a specialist in developing internet-applications and “remote monitoring & control systems” in building- control systems. At Plugwise, Theo is considered to be Plugwise’s ‘technical conscience’.
He joined Plugwise in 2007 where he is currently responsible for managing the Software Development Team (internal and external), for the development and further evolution of the Plugwise-software as well as for the technical design, de execution and supervision of the firmware development.
