Plugwise was founded in December 2006. The entire development-process took only twelve months towards the current product: a high quality and high grade micro energy management system, reliable, affordable and easy to use.
In 2007 Plugwise was awarded the Technostarter certificate (top 200 high tech companies) by the Ministery of Economic Affairs. See website EZ technostarter.
The system was ready for distribution in July 2008.
