Circle

The Circle us a basic element of the Plugwise system. It is a plug which is easily placed between the wall socket and the plug of the appliance. The smart plug measures the energy consumption of the connected appliance and stores the data in its own memory. Additionally it can switch the appliance on and off. Energy-consumption data are transmitted to the Plugwise software, installed on your PC via a wireless Zigbee-MESH-network. The energy usage-data of the connected appliance are subsequently processed by the software into clear overviews and graphs. From your computer you can wirelessly switch the connected appliances on and off, either manually or automatically through pre-set switching schedules.
The plug also contains a stand-by killer function.

Circle+

The Circle+ contains additional characteristics within the network, apart from the basic functions of the Circle.
The Circle+ functions as a coordinator in the build-up of the Plugwise network. It keeps track of those Circles which are part of the network and communicates this information to the Stick in the computer. The Circle+ includes a real-time clock and a battery which synchronizes the time periodically with the other Circles. After the buildup the Circle+ functions as a regular Circle.
Each network contains only 1 Circle+.

Screen

With the Screen users can centrally operate and read the data of all Plugwise modules. The Screen is placed in a central location, for instance near the business entrance or near the front door at home.
The touch screen showing the floor plan of the building allows the user to switch lights and appliances in each room On or Off with ONE simple touch.
It also permits the consumer to see at a glance and per individual room the status of the appliances and their energy consumption.

Source

The Source is the Plugwise software program to be installed on the PC. The program gives insight in the energy consumption of the connected appliances by means of clear overviews and graphs. Moreover, the Source offers the possibility to directly switch appliances on and off. (either manually or automatically through pre-set schedules). It is possible to separately program the software for each appliance, each room and each connected group of appliances.

Stealth

The Stealth is a universal module for measuring and switching electricity-usage of appliances in specific situations.This minimized version of the Circle can only be delivered upon order in a Plugwise project. Installation has to be done by an electrician in cooperation with Plugwise.

Stealth W

This special version of the Stealth is a universal module for measuring and switching electricity usage of appliances and lighting with a GST 18i3 connector. It functions just like the regular Plugwise Stealth and Circle and can quickly and easily be installed.

Stick

The Stick is the link between the Plugwise Software (Source) and the installed plugs (Circles) as well as other Plugwise products.
The Stick receives data from and transmits commands to the installed Plugwise modules via a wireless MESH-network. The Stick is easily connected to the USB-port of your computer.

Stretch Lite

By using the Stretch Lite you can remotely approach the Plugwise ZigBee-Mesh USB-stick via TCP/IP. The application ‘the Source’ can be installed on a physically different location (PC) than the location of operation of the Plugwise ZigBee-Mesh network. De Stretch Lite (including USB stick) will be placed in the Plugwise ZigBee-Mesh network and connected to the TCP/IP network. A driver will be installed on the PC to connect the TCP/IP network with the USB-stick, using the software ‘the Source’.
