Products in development

Ongoing product and system development at Plugwise gives us the ability to innovate and expand our current product portfolio.

2009-2010

The Plugwise system will be available for several countries with the Circle type B, E and G.

The application of the Plugwise system will be extended with several new devices. In the coming months we expect completion of products known as Switch, Stealth, Central, Stretch, Socket, Celsius, Sense, Scan and the Portal.

Circle type B

Circle for the NEMA 5-15 plug system (American continent).

Circle type E

Circle with earthing pin (Belgian / French plug system).

This product is currently under development. The Circle type E will be available together with a Circle+ type E.

 

Circle type G

Stretch

The Stretch provides the link between multiple Plugwise-networks. In for instance a business environment with more than 65 Plugwise installed modules it is necessary to set up and connect a number of networks. The Stretch provides a reliable link between these networks. Additionally the Stretch acts as Gateway to the internet portal whereby it replaces the Source and the Stick and makes the PC redundant. The Stretch contains a regular RJ45/UTP network connection and a separate power supply.

Switch

The Switch is a switching-device (either battery powered or net powered) to control one or several appliances, each connected to a plug. The software allows you to determine which appliance is to be controlled by the Switch. Groups of appliances can be assigned for this purpose. Think of the lighting in the home or in the office. By pressing one button all connected lamps are being switched on/off. The Switch is easily placed in any location. Wires are superfluous  as the Switch communicates wirelessly with the plugs and other Plugwise products.
