“What happens if I have not purchased an extension of Plugwise support?”

If you choose not to purchase support from Plugwise, you can only operate Anna indoors. This can be done via Anna’s screen on the wall and the local web interface (HTML interface). You can then no longer operate Anna via the app. You will also no longer receive updates for Anna and no more support via the Plugwise Helpdesk.

Why can I renew?

Anna’s purchased via the energy suppliers NLE (Netherlands), KPN (Netherlands) or ENI / Eneco (Belgium) are no longer supported by them. In consultation with the energy suppliers and telephone service provider, Plugwise has supported these Annas for another year. The support for all Anna’s has now ended. For NLE it has been since 2019, for Eneco since July 1, 2021 and KPN Smartlife stopped in 2020.

Does this also apply to Plugwise Annas?

Anna’s purchased through Plugwise or other partners have always received support and updates from Plugwise. That will not change in the future either.

Enter your ID

In order to update your Anna, we need your Anna’s ID. Enter the ID and then click Buy. The ID consists of 8 letters. You can see the ID in the following places:

  • In the app via menu > gateways
  • On the back of the Smile-T, the square white box next to the boiler. Click it off the wall by sliding it up.
  • On Anna itself. Press the right button of Anna for 3 seconds. A green screen appears with the ID. Press the right button again for 3 seconds to close the green screen.

Plugwise Home app

Use Anna with the Plugwise Home app. With this you can operate Anna. Both at home and on the road. Setting a schedule is also a piece of cake.

Improved regulation

With the new heating regulation, Anna heats the house better because she takes the weather into account. Because, when the weather is nice outside, a high water supply temperature is often not necessary at all. You can now set a maximum for this yourself at an outside temperature of -10°C and 20°C. Because Anna knows how cold it is outside, she knows what flow temperature she can request from the boiler.

Do you control Anna manually? Then she can now also take into account a set heating up time. Anna no longer heats according to the principle “better too early at the right temperature than too late”, but ensures that it is comfortably warm without using extra energy. Do you want the boiler not to start immediately when the temperature at the boiler is slightly lower than the desired flow temperature? You can now also set this threshold value.

The well-known saving modes “comfort”, “eco” and “green crusader” are replaced by the new heating profiles “comfort”, “standard” and “eco”.

Outside temperature

Anna knows how cold it is outside and uses this temperature to heat as comfortably and economically as possible. With the software update you now also have an idea of how cold or warm it is outside.
