Do you think sustainability is important? Then help households and offices use less gas by heating more efficiently and providing more insight into energy use! As an embedded developer you help build new products and improve the zone heating proposition (gateway together with zigbee devices) and the smart meter reader. In doing so, you help Dutch households use less gas. The position of Embedded Software Developer is challenging and includes:

  • Developing new products.
  • Devising new features for the products.
  • Optimizing zigbee communication and energy consumption.
  • Programming in C from low-level drivers to high-level application firmware.
  • Working according to an Agile/Scrum methodology with fortnightly sprints.

 

// What do we expect from you?
  • You are available 24-40 hours per week.
  • You are precise and a team player.
  • You preferably have 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • As an Embedded Software Engineer you have studied a WO- or HBO-study (Technical) Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (TCK)/Embedded systems, Physics or Mathematics.
  • You are someone who doesn’t mind diving into something and learning new things.
  • You have programming experience, preferably on embedded platforms and at and/or Microcontrollers.
  • You master the English language, both spoken and written. Speaking Dutch would be an advantage. All our documentation and issues are in English.
